Toe touch
Stop-motion seems to be something I struggle quite a lot with, which I think is because you have no choice but to animate straight ahead with it, and I like to be able to get key-frames in and go and edit stuff later. That being said, I usually can get the hang of things with a couple of extra tries.
This was my first time using the puppets, which I was excited about because I really like character animation, even if I find them really creepy (see: uncanny valley). The first attempt is good in terms of movement but bad in terms of timing. It's too fast, especially at the end end when it pushes it's hair back, and is pretty much the same speed all the way through. The second attempt presented more challenges in that the puppet had particularly stiff joints that I couldn't seem to loosen but I'm content with the result.
