2D background

Creating the background for my moving background project was incredibly fun as I got to think about a creative world that I could build. I was only held back by my lack of skill in digital painting, especially in terms of using Photoshop brushes for painting, as I'm used to using a different software. I honestly can't wait to get more practice in this. I feel that I could particularly use brushes to create a more textures look in my background, and that my final piece would have been stronger with more reference and a more solid layout drawing. As Kathy says 'a strong layout makes a strong painting'!
